Holiday Wishlist

I've recently booked a holiday to Gran Canaria with my boyfriend and I am super super excited to jet off for some sun!  However, with holidays comes holiday shopping and of course I have already been on the hunt for some holiday staples!

Bikini/Coverup

So of course if your going to sunbathe then you have to have a cute bikini, I personally love the ones from Boux Avenue as they fit like a glove and the different prints and styles of them are DREAMY! The Bikini I'm planning on purchasing is the Barcelano Studded Bikini set as it is completely different to anything that I own! Now because I am so pale I also need to have something to throw on over my shoulders as I will just burn and blister and let's face it, it's not the prettiest of looks. This shirt style one from New Look is just perfect because it is longer than others so it will cover the tops of my legs, it's very lightweight and white so I won't melt when I put it on and also, I can wear it tucked into a pair of high waisted denim shorts for when I go exploring!

Tan Heels

Now when I say heels I don't mean six foot skyscrapers that you can hardly walk in, I mean a mid height chunky heel that you can easily walk up and down stairs with and not get too many blisters. This pair from New Look are absolutely gorgeous! I love New Look heels as it is as they are just so comfy and don't break the bank; I have a similar style heel but in white from a couple of years ago and I will also be packing them for this holiday too!

 Beachbag

Now normally I use my hand luggage bag as my beach bag however, the white one I have been using for the past few years has turned into a slightly grey colour with crisp crumbs embedded into the bottom (I know it's gross!). So after watching Zoella's new stationery haul video I thought I would have a nose on Paperchase's website and found this beautiful banana leaf printed bag with "Life's a Beach" in big printed neon orange letters. It has an interior pocket to put all your valuables in like room keys and phones and has a magnetic clasp to do the whole thing up with! Perfect for taking down to the beach and if you don't like the handbag style they also have a rucksack version!

Tan Belt

Recently everyone has gone crazy for the black leather belts with the silver/grey detailing on them and I can understand why as a belt just add's a little something extra to an outfit. But sometimes, especially in the summer, I feel like black is a bit too harsh for the sunshine so I wanted a tan belt instead! This one on ASOS is exactly what I was looking for plus at only £8 it's a bit of a bargain.

And that is my holiday wishlist.. for now! No doubt I will be searching through ASOS again just to check that I haven't missed anything! If your looking for summer clothes that aren't bikini's I highly recommend New Look as they have some stunning pieces in at the moment that are just perfect for holidays as well as sunny days in England!
